I recently had an interaction involving a receivable.  The matter was resolved quickly and amicably thanks to the timely attention that was given to the issue.

It reminded me of an expression that riders ought to recognize.  A horse quickly curried illustrates the importance of taking care of issues rather than putting them off…and taking the chance that the neglected issue might worsen.

Taking good care of a horse means using a curry brush — and plenty of elbow grease — before and after a ride. It keeps the animal happy and healthy.
